Serial Number: 3389663 - Indicates manufacture from Dec 1944 - Mar 1945.

-Receiver: Substantial pitting under wood line, indicates moisture in the wood at some point.

-Barrel: New used barrel has been put on and measured with nice tight headspace. Has been test fired.

-Gas Cylinder: Gas cylinder lock screw is from a later model (Jan 1951+)

-Op Rod: Unable to time gun properly as op rod was too worn. We used a newer op rod for testing and gun timed properly. Replacement op rod recommended. (We can provide one for $200. )

-Trigger Housing: Very pitted under wood line.

-Trigger: Part number indicates it was manufactured from same batch as barrel. Should have no markings to be matching.

-Safety: Unmarked, should have part number to be matching.

-Hammer: Unmarked, should have part number to be matching.

-Stock: Wood is rough with numerous dings and dents. No cartouches, indicating the wood was likely replaced in the field or afterwards, not original stock

--Mixture of different finishes on the metal. Some are parkerized, some are blued.

-Preliminary inspection shows mostly matching Springfield parts other than what is mentioned above. A more thorough inspection may indicate more mismatched parts.

-Missing it's sling.
