Modified Thompson 4/30 Round Mag

These are refinished 30 round Thompson submachine gun magazines. They have been internally modified to only hold 4 rounds. No evidence on the outside. These are used mags that we refinished in black oxide, just like original. Various manufacturers.

Although in very good condition, the odd one will have weak markings and or tiny dings or minor pitting. Will only fit original USGI guns, not modern copies. Buy more than one and receive a discount.

Matching Numbers. Converted to 410 Single Shot Riot Gun in 1935. Magazine well removed and plugged. Uses 303 cartridge not necked down. Original condition. Metal and wood is nice. Small chip near magazine plug. Original site not pinned like others that were converted. Action smooth and tight. Smooth bore is excellent.

A great piece of history from World War 1 that was later used for riot control.

S/N: 4756079 - Indicates manufacture period from Dec 1953 to Feb 1955, however receiver built earlier than S/N indicates.

30-06 caliber.

Preliminary inspection indicates all matching HRA parts except for IHC front sight. More detailed inspection required for confirmation on all other parts matching.

Tight headspace, bore has good rifling. Test-fired and runs like new.

Original Finish on metal. Type 2 stock is in rough shape but retains original "P" and "Eagle and Three Stars" cartouches.

Fully inspected and being sold on consignment by Vulcan Gun Refinishing.

S/N: 5184108 - Indicates receiver manufacture period from Oct 1954 to EOP in 1956.

30-06 caliber.

International Harvester receiver. Springfield Armory barrel, bolt and op rod. Rear sights are WCE and IHC parts. A more detailed inspection will likely reveal other mismatched parts.

Tight headspace, however has not been test-fired.

Muzzle wear is very bad, indicates frequent cleaning. Throat erosion is very worn. Bore is worn but clean.

Original Finish on metal. Stock is rough and mismatched.

Fully inspected and being sold on consignment by Vulcan Gun Refinishing.
